Joel Eel is a Korean-Canadian producer, performer, DJ, mix engineer, designer, and label manager working at the intersection of underground dance music and experimental sound. His latest album Love Infinity is out now via Perpetual Care and available on all streaming platforms.

Known for sculpting his own unique voice that spans techno, industrial, and emotive electronics, Eel’s work has been featured in Vogue, Vice, Visla Magazine (KR), DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, Paper Magazine, Netflix, Dummy Mag, and Exclaim!.
Eel has performed at Red Bull Music Festival, SXSW, MUTEKTo, Long Winter x INUIM at the Power Plant, and was invited as a panelist for Long Winter Paris. His DJ mixes have appeared on platforms including NTS Radio, Red Bull Radio, Refraction, Balamii, Rinse France, Seoul Community Radio, Invisible City, and BORSCH Magazine.

In 2023, he collaborated with producer Leevisa to score the South Korean psychological horror/thriller 미혹 (Mi-hok / The Other Child) — starring Hyo Ju Park, Minjae Kim, and Sunwoo Cha (B1A4) — which premiered at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
